Jean Paul Gutiérrez was born in Cali, Colombia, in 1990, a vibrant city that breathes art and movement. From a very young age, Jean found in creativity his natural language, turning ideas into something tangible has always been part of his essence. For him, creating was never just about doing, it was about evoking emotions, the genuine joy of seeing someone smile. Jean deeply values that moment when his work connects with others, when an idea, a gesture, or a creation touches someone and makes them feel good.

Calm and joyful by nature, he found in the guitar a sincere form of expression, and in art a space for peace and enjoyment. Early on, he understood that sensitivity could coexist with discipline, an idea that grew even stronger during his service in the Navy, a stage that helped shape his character and reinforce values such as responsibility, commitment, and consistency.

He chose to pursue studies in Industrial Engineering, understanding that inspiration also needs structure to become reality. Every step he took had a purpose: to work with excellence, think differently, and build with meaning.

At the age of 24, driven by a desire to grow and reinvent himself, Jean Paul made one of the most important decisions of his life: to immigrate to Canada, where his mother was living. Starting over was not easy, but it was transformative. In a new country, facing new challenges and beginning from scratch, he began to carve his path in the world of renovation to transform the everyday into something meaningful. Through each project, Jean reimagines spaces, blends technique with creativity, and turns structures into experiences that reflect change, harmony, and purpose.

Each project became a school, each challenge an opportunity to learn, and over time, that experience grew into a larger vision.

Today, that vision is a reality: JP Projects, a company born from effort, perseverance, and the belief that dreams are built step by step, with both hands and heart. A company that reflects not only quality and professionalism, but also a story of courage, migration, art, and honest work.
